When it comes to food, kids can be very unpredictable. Kids either love what you made and can’t get enough of it, or they pretend to choke on food and hate it, which makes cooking dinner for them challenging. So I wanted to give you some dinner ideas that even most picky eaters would enjoy.
Spaghetti and meatballs tacos
Everyone loves spaghetti and meatballs, and also everyone loves tacos, mix those things up, and you get tacos filled with spaghetti and meatballs. Those are all the things kids love to eat, and if you sneak in some veggies in between, they are not going to notice it.
1 lb. ground chicken
1 large egg
1/4 c. Italian bread crumbs
1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan, divided, plus more for garnish
2 tsp. Italian seasoning
2 tsp. garlic powderkosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1 lb. spaghetti
1 c. marinara
8 flat-bottom taco shells
Preheat oven to 350º and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Make chicken meatballs: In a large bowl, stir together ground chicken, egg, Italian bread crumbs, 1/4 cup Parmesan, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Form into small balls and transfer to a prepared baking sheet.
Bake until golden and no longer pink, 20 to 22 minutes.
Meanwhile, break spaghetti in half. In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain and return to pot.
Add marinara to the pot, baked meatballs, and remaining 1/4 cup Parmesan. Stir together.
Stuff into taco shells and sprinkle with more Parmesan.
Pizza stuffed shells
Imagin using the best pizza toppings and stuffing them into pasta shells, and baking them to perfection. That way, you get a meal that not even a picky eater would refuse. The best part is that you can use any topping you love.
Your pasta shells should be prepared based on package directions before the baking. Or you will end up with some hard shells to bite through. Be sure you follow the instructions.
Sloppy Joe’s may not be the fanciest or most appealing meal, but they are the most delicious, messy goodness. They are easy to make, and it only takes about 30 minutes. I guarantee you, no one can resist them.
Ingredients for Sloppy Joe and Sauce
Red bell paper
Salt and pepper
|Preheat olive oil in a large skillet on medium heat.
Saute all the veggies until they are tender.
Add ground beef, and cook all the way through until brown.
Drain fat and add seasonings.
Reduce heat and start adding liquid ingredients, and cook for another few minutes.
Serve fillings warm in hamburger buns.
And most importantly, enjoy it.

If there is anything kids love, it is a hot dog. Even a pickiest of eater wouldn’t say no to a hot dog. Serve it in a bun with some feelings, and you got your self a perfect kid-friendly dinner. And it takes you less than 10 minutes.
Mini Pepper Pizzas
This is the easiest recipe there is. All you need are bell peppers and your favorite pizza stuffings. Cut bell peppers in half and clean them, then add pizza filling of your choice, a put them in the oven. Your dinner will be ready in no time, and bonus, kids will not mind that they are eating vegetables.
